  7. Kym Whitley – Live Comedy 7 p.m. Friday and 9:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30-31, at Punch Line Comedy Club. Kym Whitley is a powerhouse of energy, personality, and โ€œtell it like it isโ€ humor.   8. THE PLOT TWIST: Making 2026 Your Best Chapter! Vision Board party 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Offices of Consulting E.T.C., 730 Howe Avenue, Suite 700. A space created for Black women to reset, realign, and author 2026 on their own terms. Tickets are $39.

Plant Celebration Day 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Rainbow Mini Park, 6121 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. This impactful event is designed to support families in South Sacramento through free plant and tree giveaways, onsite gardening and harvesting, and our beloved โ€œfreecycleโ€ giveaway, where community members can shop for new and gently used household items, clothing, toys, baby gear, books, and more.
