  1. BLACK MEN: Alive & Well 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at OnTrack Program Resources, 520 Ninth St., suite 102. This group provides a safe and honest forum for Black men to come together and discuss issues related to being a Black man in America. We will check in, get current, and talk about things that we may find difficult to discuss in other settings, experiencing the unique therapeutic value of one Black man helping another. Free and open to Black men in the community.
  2. How The Grouch Stole Christmas Tour: Living Legends 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Ace of Spades. This is an annual, long-running holiday-themed concert tour spearheaded by independent West Coast hip-hop artist The Grouch of the Living Legends collective. When the tour features the Living Legends collective, it becomes a major event for underground hip-hop fans. Tickets from $52.
  3. African Dance Class by Gracy 7-8:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Deane Dance Center, Studio 3, 3385 Lanatt St., suite C. Step into the world of authentic African rhythms and unstoppable culture. This is more than a class โ€” itโ€™s a massive celebration! Join Gracy as they celebrate her birthday with the biggest, highest-energy class of the year. This is your essential party and workout of the week โ€” a dose of nonstop fun, sweat, and powerful de-stressing fueled by the hottest rhythms from Africa. Tickets are $15.
  4. Life & Libations Networking Mixer 2 Year Anniversary 7-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Ever After Wine, 9639 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove. Join an evening filled with elegance, gratitude, community, and giving. This celebration honors two incredible years of Life and Libations bringing people together through meaningful connections, empowerment, and community spirit. Theyโ€™re celebrating with purpose by collecting backpacks, pajamas, and unwrapped toys for foster youth. Kortney Shane Williamsโ€™ self-deprecating humor has won him finalist spots in both Comedy Centralโ€™s South Beach Comedy Festival Competition and NBCโ€™s Stand-Up Showcase. Tickets are $25.

Xfinity Free Skate Noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink, 701 K St. Xfinity is giving back to the community and neighbors by picking up the tab for the first 300 skaters. To make the day even more special, they will give away festive swag and provide a 360 photobooth. Free and open to the public.
  7. Sac State Dance Team December Clinic 12:30-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Sacramento State. Sharpen your skills and explore opportunities for recruitment. This clinic is led by the Sac State dance team coaches and members. Expect to learn team choreography, refine collegiate dance technique, receive audition tips and participate in a mock audition, get personalized feedback from coaches and team members, participate in a Q&A session and receive audition invitations. Welcome to dancers grade 7 through college. Tickets are $76.
  8. Winter Wonderland Cookie Decorating 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Exceptional Journey Consulting, 2251 Florin Road, suite 157. Kids and parents will enjoy decorating delicious sugar cookies with colorful icing, sprinkles, edible glitter, and festive toppings, all provided for you. Tickets are $30 per entry of one child and parent.
  9. Elk Grove Illumination Holiday Festival 3-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at District 56, 8230 Civic Center Drive, Elk Grove. Presented by Sutter Health, this free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with festive food, live entertainment, cultural celebrations, and joyful surprises.   11. Powerhouse of Blues – Dennis Jones 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at Powerhouse, 614D Sutter St., Folsom. Sizzling hot guitar solos. Smooth and soulful vocals. High-energy stage performance. Backed by a rhythm section that is second to none, this is Dennis Jones. He writes songs that seamlessly blend the best of both worlds, presenting a unique and contemporary style of American rock and blues. Tickets are $18.
