  4. KRS-One 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at Harlow’s. Since his emergence in hip-hop, KRS-One has impacted the world with a philosophy on life, music and culture. An acronym for “Knowledge Reigning Supreme,” KRS first made himself known in 1985 with the group Boogie Down Productions, writing rhymes that rejected the exploitation of hip-hop and centered on peace, love, and unity.   5. Tahir Moore – Live Comedy 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14-15, at Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club. Tahir Moore is a comedian, actor, writer, producer, and all-around creative force. You’ve seen him on “Insecure,” “Abbott Elementary,” “A Black Lady Sketch Show,” and “The Neighborhood,” as well as in national commercials for brands like Spectrum, Hyundai, and JPMorgan Chase.   7. NCBW 24th Annual Business & Community Awards Luncheon! 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento. Celebrate the Sacramento region’s Women of Excellence whose leadership, service, and dedication continue to inspire lasting change in their communities. Hear from keynote speaker Keisha Lance Bottoms, the 60th mayor of Atlanta (2018-2022) and former director of the White House Office of Public Engagement (2022-2023).
