RANCHO CORDOVA – California Black Chamber of Commerce Foundation will hold its African American Leadership “Economic Issues Forum” April 25 and 26 at the Hilton Hotel in the Arden Area.

Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., April 25, followed by a Political Access Panel at 9:00 a.m. The Homeownership Panel begins at 11:00 a.m. Two more workshops are scheduled before the VIP Reception starts at 5:30 p.m., April 25.

On April 26, the forum will host a continental breakfast between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., before the Green Economics Panel discussion. Three workshops will follow the Green Economic Panel. The Leaders and Legends Awards Luncheon is at 12:15 p.m.

This is a series of workshops targeting the issues facing underserved minority communities to develop positive solutions and remove barriers to growth in the areas of education, health, crime, home ownership, building wealth and the church’s role in the community. Our Renaissance 21st Century Project is helping to revitalize the “can do” spirit in communities around the state.

The guest speaker for this event is Candyce Hayes. Haynes has served as a top producer and media specialist in the media industry. She is a recognized authority on the principles of leadership, visual storytelling, increased performance, team building and strategic planning.
