ELK GROVE – The California National Guard will operate a community-based pop-up COVID-19 testing site on Tuesday, August 4 at 8:00 am in Elk Grove at Valley-hi Library (7400 Imagination Pkwy, Elk Grove, CA 95758). Testing is first come, first served and testing capacity is limited. Testing will be drive-thru only.

There are no appointments needed. Community members seeking testing will be on a first-come-first-served basis ​until daily capacity (100 tests per day) is reached. There are no prerequisites, such as having ​symptoms, for testing, but residents must be 18 or over and have a valid ID and contact information for test results. 

Future pop-up site locations will be assessed weekly. The community sur​rounding the testing location will be notified via Next Door, County social media and local community partners. Locations will also be posted on our COVID-19 Testing page the day before testing.

The testing will be processed in the Sacramento County Public Health (SCPH) lab. Results will be provided to residents within 5 – 7 business days after testing
