  1. UNITED WAY Nonpartisan Gubernatorial Forum: Voices of Californians 4:30-7 p.m. Monday, March 23, at the Crest Theatre. The forum is designed to provide voters with a substantive, issue-focused opportunity to hear directly from qualified gubernatorial candidates about their priorities and vision for California. Trivia for a Great Cause: Women Rule! 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Enlightenment Salon, 2221 10th St. March is Womenโ€™s History Month, so the trivia questions will be all about ladies who rock and women who rule. From Cleopatra to Alysa Liu, test your knowledge of rule-breaking and history-making females in history, art, sports, science, songs and more. This event supports Chicks in Crisis, so bring diapers, blankets, toys, or gift cards. Tickets are $5.
  3. CBHN Health Equity Forum Noon-1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, via webinar. Join the California Black Health Network for a forum on the impact of HR1 (One Big Beautiful Bill Act) on health care access, availability, and affordability, Featuring Dr. Monica Soni, chief medical officer for Covered California. This interactive discussion highlights changes in health care costs, shifts in coverage, what to expect in 2026-27 and anticipated changes that will affect Black Californians and other vulnerable communities. Free, attendees must register.
  4. Menโ€™s Wealth and Health Forum 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Center for Fathers and Families, 920 Del Paso Blvd. Featuring special guest speaker Labeebah Rahman, clinical research coordinator, discussing health wellness and well-being.   5. Q&A with Mayor Kevin McCarty and City Manager Maraskeshia Smith 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at 1601 Alhambra Blvd., suite 100. The Beeโ€™s director of community outreach and opinion journalism Marcos Breton and city hall reporter Ishani Desai will moderate.   6. Money & Mindset Meetup 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at 730 Howe Ave., suite 700. For individuals who are open to growth, entrepreneurship, leadership, and making a real impact in the community through financial literacy and education. Free, attendees must register online.
  7. Folsom Wine and Jazz 6-9:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Zittel Family Amphitheater, 200 Wool St., Folsom. An evening under the stars featuring the award-winning Folsom High School Jazz Band and Jazz Choir. Guests 21 and over will enjoy tastings from local wineries and restaurants, plus a silent auction, all in support of Folsom High music programs. Tickets are $60.
  8. Candlelight: Tribute to Drake 8:45-10 p.m. Friday, March 27, at the California Railroad Museum. Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multisensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Sacramento.   9. Midnight Players – Live Concert 10 p.m. Friday, March 27, at Powerhouse, 614 Sutter St., Folsom. Old-school R&B, funk, oldies and Latin. Expect to hear hits from artists such as Earth Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang, Chaka Khan, GQ, Slave, Madonna, Frankie Beverly and Maze, and many more. Tickets are $18.
  10. United Wayโ€™s 4th Annual United in Purpose Gala 5-9 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Memorial Auditorium. This yearโ€™s United In Purpose Gala is more than an event; itโ€™s a celebration of accomplishments while acknowledging what needs to come next. Thanks to your incredible support, United Way surpassed its 100th anniversary goal to raise $3 million and helped more than 10,000 local kids excel in school. Tickets are $250.
