Sacramento residents are invited to a free webinar on March 25 that can help them save water outdoors using City rebates.
The event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. and include expert advice from City water conservation specialists.
โMany customers want to make their yards more water-efficient but arenโt sure where to start,โ said William Granger, the Cityโs water conservation coordinator. โThis webinar is a great opportunity to learn what rebates are available and how to take advantage of them.โ
The City offers up to $3,000 in rebates to residential customers who convert grass lawns to drought-tolerant landscapes and up to $800 for irrigation upgrades, including up to $400 for smart controllers.
During the webinar, water conservation specialists will share common mistakes to avoid and practical tips for navigating the rebate application process.
โOur goal is to make the process simple and approachable,โ Granger said. โWeโll walk attendees through the steps and answer questions so they feel confident moving forward with their projects.โ
People can sign up for the webinar online. All registrants will receive a recording after the event.
