Sacramento residents are invited to a free webinar on March 25 that can help them save water outdoors using City rebates.

The event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. and include expert advice from City water conservation specialists.

โ€œMany customers want to make their yards more water-efficient but arenโ€™t sure where to start,โ€ said William Granger, the Cityโ€™s water conservation coordinator. โ€œThis webinar is a great opportunity to learn what rebates are available and how to take advantage of them.โ€

The City offers up to $3,000 in rebates to residential customers who convert grass lawns to drought-tolerant landscapes and up to $800 for irrigation upgrades, including up to $400 for smart controllers.

During the webinar, water conservation specialists will share common mistakes to avoid and practical tips for navigating the rebate application process.

โ€œOur goal is to make the process simple and approachable,โ€ Granger said. โ€œWeโ€™ll walk attendees through the steps and answer questions so they feel confident moving forward with their projects.โ€

People can sign up for the webinar online. All registrants will receive a recording after the event.
