- Khamari – To Dry a Tear: Part II 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Ace of Spades. After releasing his debut EP โEldoradoโ in 2020, the R&B singer from the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston dropped a string of singles including 2021โs โDoctor, My Eyes,โ 2022โs โDriftingโ and โTell Meโ and 2023โs โOn My Way.โ Tickets from $140.
- Life & Libations Presents: Love, Networking & Friends Valentineโs Edition 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at Midway Bar and Grill, 330 Third St., West Sacramento. BUรUEL is an international noise-rock โsupergroupโ whose sound is often described as โunforgiving, merciless, and beautiful.โ Named after the surrealist filmmaker Luis Buรฑuel, the band creates a sonic landscape that mirrors the directorโs penchant for the provocative, the dreamlike, and the violent. - Ekep Nkwelle 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 12-14, at Vanderhoef Studio Theatre, Mondavi Center, UC Davis. A Howard University and Juilliard graduate, Nkwelle has journeyed from the vibrant culture of Washington to the iconic stages of New York City and beyond. - Jordan Conley – Live Comedy 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14, at Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club. Jordan is a nerd who loves to talk about movies, superheroes and theme parks. - Bone Thugs-N-Harmony 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at Ace of Spades. No group has done more to prove that rap at its hardest and melody at its most sublime were meant to live together in thuggish, ruggish harmony than this legendary Cleveland hip-hop band, who won their Grammy for โThe Crossroadsโ in 1997. Donโt expect the reunited Flesh-n-Bone, Bizzy Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Wish Bone to be all about nostalgia. Their trademark rapid-fire delivery and distinctive melodies remain intact.
