  1. Jacquees & Dej Loaf – THE F#*K A FRIENDZONE TOUR 7 p.m. Monday, May 5, at Ace of Spades. Come out for a night of R&B classics performed by both artists off their newest collaborative album. Tickets from $48.
  2. Sacramento Women’s Conference: Her Power, Our Progress 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria. Celebrate the strength, innovation and leadership of women in business. Under the theme “Her Power, Our Progress,” celebrate women in business who are driving innovation and fostering a more inclusive business landscape.   3. Dance Class with R.O.Y.A.L. DANCERS 6-7 p.m. Tuesdays, at James Marshall Park. Join R.O.Y.A.L. DANCERS every Tuesday evening for a fun dance class led by Carmilita Gauthier. This Black men’s support group provides an empowering environment in which men can come together to find strength, hope and belonging. Free and open to Black men in the community.
  5. Denzel Curry – Mischievous South Tour 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Channel 24. Denzel Curry has been in the game for more than a decade, being featured in the 2016 XXL Freshman Cypher. Don’t miss this opportunity to see him live. Tickets from $55.
  6. Community Diaper Distribution Noon-2 p.m. second Thursdays (next distribution May 8) at Roberts Family Development Center. Receive free diapers for newborn to size 7. Scan the QR code on the flier to sign up ahead of the event to ensure that you are able to receive diapers. Early arrival is also encouraged.
  7. Second Thursdays – Music at the Mill 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Old Sugar Mill, 35265 Willow Ave., Clarksburg. Come enjoy the evening with great music, wine and a lively atmosphere. Live music by AgapéSoul, which blends soul, jazz, and R&B with a positive message to spread love and connection through music. Tickets from $28.
