United Way California Capital Region has announced the continuation of their Collegiate Guaranteed Income Program, which will provide a $500 monthly stipend for two years to 20 former foster youth students from Sacramento State and UC Davis. The program, which started in 2024, aims to assist students with expenses and keep them on track to graduate at the end of the year. The program will also provide mentorship, career guidance, and potential job opportunities to the students.
