  1. Women’s History Month BOGO Admission at the California Museum 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, March 24, at the California Museum. Start by visiting the “Women Inspire” exhibit to discover the stories of more than 250 Golden State women who inspired change and reflect on the ongoing struggle for equality from the 1700s to present. Next, visit the “War Too: Women in Service,” a groundbreaking special exhibit honoring the nearly 350,000 American women who answered the call to serve their country during World War II. This temporary exhibit from the National WWII Museum explores the efforts, struggles and accomplishments of these servicewomen, the impacts of which extend into the present day. Tickets from $10.
  2. 2nd Annual 2025 Faith in Health Luncheon Collaborative 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, at Tsakopoulos Library Galleria. Join faith leaders, public health advocates and community partners for a powerful gathering dedicated to creating healthier, smoke-free communities. Get expert insights from Dr. Mignon Guy (University of Virginia), Dr. Jeremiah Mock (UC San Francisco), & Dr. Phil Gardiner (AATCLC). Free, attendees must RSVP.
  3. The Dark Roast Comedy Tour feat. CP, Tahir Moore, Keith Pedro, Trixx 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Punch Line Comedy Club. Come out for a night of laughs with performances from Chris Powell (CP), Tahir Moore, Keith Pedro and Trixx Tickets from $38.
  4. Open Mic hosted by Marcus Manghah 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Punch Line Sacramento Callback Bar. Come out and test your skills on the mic. Signups open at noon the day prior.   5. Mahogany Urban Poetry feat. Russell Cummings 7-10 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Our Place Event Space & Kitchen. Come out for a night of powerful spoken word and soul-stirring poetry. Russell Cummings will be gracing the stage with his captivating words, sure to leave you inspired and moved. Tickets are $12.
  6. CLBSA Presents: 2nd Annual Hoop Dream$ 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Sacramento State. The California Legislative Black Staff Association (CLBSA) is excited to invite you to their staff/advocate basketball game. Join them for a night of friendly competition, community and charity as we raise money for an Inaugural Internship Program to strengthen the pipeline for young Black staffers to enter the building.
