New York Times Poll Indicates Trouble for Biden

(US MEDIA GROUP) – A recent poll conducted by the New York Times has raised concerns for the Biden campaign as it suggests a shift in support for the former Vice President among key demographics.

According to a report by The Hill, the May 13 poll shows that President Donald Trump is leading in five out of six swing states, with Wisconsin being the only state where Biden is currently ahead. This is a significant change from the 2020 election, where Biden won all six swing states.

Notably, the poll also indicates a decline in support for Biden among young voters, as well as Black and Hispanic voters. Republican strategist Ford Oโ€™Connell, in an interview with The Hill, pointed out the significance of these findings, stating that polls have traditionally underestimated Trump’s support, rather than overestimating it.

Oโ€™Connell further emphasized the impact of the poll when coupled with the recent turnout of nearly 100,000 people in the “Arctic blue” state of New Jersey, describing it as a “disaster for Biden.”

However, the Biden campaign is urging caution in interpreting these results, given the distance from election day. Geoff Garin, a Biden campaign pollster, noted that there has been a lack of consistency in recent public polls, and stressed the need to consider other poll results that show Biden in the lead.

Garin also pointed out that many voters are not yet closely following the election and have not made up their minds, a trend reflected in the current poll. He added that these voters will play a crucial role in the election, and the Biden campaign is actively working to secure their support.

As election day approaches, the results of this poll will continue to be analyzed and compared to other polls to gauge the overall state of the race. It remains to be seen how the Biden campaign will respond to these latest developments and work to maintain and gain support from these critical voting groups.
