Over 12,000 fans attended the historic Opening Day of Major League Baseball in Sacramento, where the Athletics lost 18-3 to the Chicago Cubs. The team will play in Sacramento for at least three years while awaiting completion of their new stadium in Las Vegas. Despite the lopsided loss, fans expressed excitement and enthusiasm for the team’s presence in Sacramento, although they acknowledged that the team’s stay in the city is likely temporary. READ MORE
