This free pop-up history event will be taking place on Saturday,  June 10 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Belle Cooledge Library Community Room. Due to limited space, all attendees are encouraged to pre-register for the event using the link on the event flier.

Eight genealogists will be on hand to do on-the-spot research on your family’s history using the U.S. Census. In addition, representatives from the Center for Sacramento History, Sacramento Public Library and the City’s Preservation Office will be on hand to answer your questions about how to continue researching your family roots.

Attendees are invited to bring an heirloom, historic document or old photo to discuss with the historians and archivists at the event.

A light continental breakfast will be provided.
