On Saturday April 22, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Rose Family Creative Empowerment Center, the 100 Black Men of America, Sacramento will host Stay Well – A Nationwide COVID Vaccination and Booster Day event.
The Stay Well Vaccine events are designed to bring health related resources to Black communities across the country. The W. Montague Cobb/NMA Health Institute has partnered with local health agencies and community-based organizations in select cities to continue to educate Black communities while assisting to make vaccine resources more accessible.
These fairs feature local trusted Black healthcare professionals in panel discussions on the continued impact of COVID-19, the vaccines and the emerging variants. A myriad of FREE resources is also available including COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots, shingles vaccines, flu shots, health screenings, and well-living information.
Living a healthy lifestyle is one of the factors that we can each control in preventing disease.
