Underground Books features Allyson Felix, the most decorated track and field athlete in Olympic history, at its monthly Oak Park Speaker Series, 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 3, at the Guild Theater.
Felix is the only female track star to win seven Olympic gold medals, plus 13 world championships golds – two more than the fastest runner ever, Usain Bolt. In total, Felix has won an astonishing 31 medals in her Olympic and world championship career.
Felix has redefined athletics as she continues to cement her iconic status on and off the track. She is an investor in multiple companies, serves as an advisor to a female-led and -focused venture fund, and is the founder of her own women’s shoe company, SAYSH. Sought after for her empowering insights about striving for greatness in business and in life, Felix has captivated audiences across industries.
General admission tickets start at $20. VIP tickets are available for $45, which includes a post reception at Fixins, meet-and-greet with Felix, and an autographed photo. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
