Phil Oates, chairman of Buzz Oates, one of the largest privately held commercial real estate investment management companies in the country, hosted his second celebrity golf tournament last week at North Ridge Country Club in Fair Oaks. Celebrities from the sports, entertainment and business world all participated in the fundraising event. Among those seen flexing their golf game were MLB great Dave Justice, NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, former Sacramento Kings player Kenny Thomas, comedians Tony Roberts and Lance Woods and others. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the following charities: St. John’s Program for Real Change, Capital Christian School, Convoy of Hope, American Heart Association, Bayside, Anrak Charitable Foundation, ACED, Susan Rogers Scholarships, and Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center.
