“From Slavery To Bravery,” 28th Annual Sac “Original” Juneteenth Holiday Unity Festival June 17

At the District 56 Center in Elk Grove on Friday June 17, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The event will feature entertainment, informative community forums and seminars to bring information on a variety of topics as it relates the meaningfulness of this National Holiday.

The Juneteenth slogan this year is “From Slavery To Bravery.”  With this mission statement we will have presentations by historians on how so many people worked and sacrificed to end the atrocities of slavery.  ” From Slavery To Bravery is also the name of our very special documentary that will be televised on Today’s Times TV streaming channel and on our two websites blackexpoevents.org and theblackexpoonline.com.
