On Friday May 6 and Saturday May 7 at 2801 Meadowview Rd., starting at 9 a.m., the National Action Network Sacramento Chapter (NAN) will present the NAN Sacramento “Moving Forward!” Conference. The 2022 conference theme: “Moving Forward!” is inspired by Rev. Sharpton’s latest book “Righteous Troublemakers: Untold Stories of the Social Justice Movement in America.”
Some of the topics will include Black education and voting.
The event is in person and also virtual. Tickets to the event can be purchased here. The event is free.
NAN Sacramento is Moving Forward! The conference will feature prominent leaders and speakers who are at the forefront of civil rights activism, social justice advocacy and education reform in America, including:
