On Thursday Oct. 28, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m, the Twin Rivers Unified School District (TRUSD) will be hosting an in-person job fair to fill more than 175 classified positions across an array of departments for the 2021-22 school year.

The event will be held outdoors at Twin Rivers Unified School District, 5115 Dudley Blvd, McClellan Park 95652.

Because it is an in-person event, masks will be required and hand sanitizer will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the job that they would like to make an impression for.

“It’s a chance for folks to meet and greet with some of the established Staff and express their interest in working for Twin Rivers,” said David Robertson, spokesman for TRUSD.

TRUSD Staff will be in attendance, including: Dr. Steven Martinez (Superintendent), Dr. Lori Grace (Associate Superintendent), Gina Carreón (Chief Human Resources Official), and David Robertson (Director of Recruitment).

Some of the positions available are the following: student support staff, school site officials, yard assistants, bus attendants, nutrition services, maintenance, administration, paraeducators, and groundskeeping.

For many of these positions, no experience is necessary and the District will provide support to expedite any required training or licensing processes for candidates. TRUSD is specifically looking for bus drivers due to the shortage being experienced across the nation and throughout North California.

A spokesperson for Twin Rivers is available for interviews addressing various hiring needs and the District’s ongoing efforts to recruit and fill open positions.

TRUSD is an important part of the Sacramento community—not just for students, but also as a major employer. They want to continue to support the community with new hiring opportunities for over 175 positions for the coming school year.
