With the “most significant elections of our time” coming up on November 3, the
Zeta Beta Lambda Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity hosts a virtual conversation with California Secretary of State Alex Padilla on Tuesday, September 1.
The “A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People” discussion will stream live on Zoom from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Topics will include often misunderstood voter registration rules, strategies to increase voter registrants and the importance of voting and changes in the voting process for 2020.
Invited guests include the Eta Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Sierra Health Foundation, California State National Action Network, Fortune School of Education, and the Sacramento State University Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers.
