(SACRAMENTO) – The Sacramento Kings will field a team to compete in the 2016 Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas from July 8 to 18 at the Thomas and Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Sacramento will play at least five games, beginning with its first contest on Friday, July 8 against the Toronto Raptors at 7:00 p.m. PDT at Cox Pavilion.

The Kings next game will be on Sunday, July 10 versus the Houston Rockets at 3:30 the Thomas & Mack Center. The final preliminary game for Sacramento will take place on Monday, July 11 at 7:00 p.m.against the New Orleans Pelicans at Cox Pavilion.

This summer’s event will again feature the tournament-style format first debuted in 2013 that will crown the Samsung NBA Summer League Champion on Monday, July 18.

The 24 teams – 23 NBA teams and one NBA Development League Select team – will compete in three preliminary round games from July 8-12 before being seeded in a tournament running through the Championship Game on July 18. Each team is guaranteed to play at least five games.

ESPN will present all 67 games from Las Vegas across ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU and WatchESPN. In total, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will broadcast 25 games, including all four quarterfinal games, both semifinal games and the Championship Game on Monday, July 18 at 6 p.m. PDT at the Thomas & Mack Center.
