SACRAMENTO – After his career was benched by several knee injuries, former NBA star Jonathan Bender is scoring points off the court, inventing a training and rehabilitation device for other chronic pain sufferers.
Bender will introduce his invention, the JBit MedPro, to locals on Saturday, July 18. The MedPro Mobile Clinic will be held at the Hyatt Regency, Capitol View Room, 1209 L Street, from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. The JBit MedPro device is designed to help alleviate knee, hip, back/sciatica and shoulder pain. Locals are invited to come out and learn how the device is “changing the lives of those who are affected by chronic pain.”
Bender, a former high school phenom from Mississippi, at played for the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks before retiring in 2009.
