SACRAMENTO – The local chapter of the Sacramento NAACP will hold election of officers on Nov. 8 in Oak Park, said the branch’s secretary Aliane Murphy-Hasan.
The election of officers and at-large members of the Executive Committee will take place at the AKA House. Polls open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In order to vote in a branch election, the persons must be a member in good standing of the branch 30 days prior to the election, said Murphy-Hasan. Identification is required.
The AKA House is located at 3500 2nd Avenue in Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood.
