OAK PARK – The Neighborhood Works Homeownership Center of Sacramento Region presents its first Care Fair at the Oak Park Farmers Market on Saturday, August 9.
The Oak Park Market is held in McClatchy Park, 35th Street and 5th Avenue. The Care Fair is set to run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There will be tons of fun activities for children and families, including the Crocker Art Museum’s “Art Ark” with free art activities for kids, Radio Disney ‘Magic of Healthy Living’ with fun activities for kids to learn about healthy living and healthy activities, with prizes; a free yoga class, led by Yoga Seed, at 10:00 a.m., free massages from the Holistic Health Institute, live music, information booths on improving health, and free raffle prizes. There will also be fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to purchase from the farmers market.
