
SACRAMENTO – Sacramento Kings rookie Ben McLemore was selected to participate in the 2014 Sprite Slam Dunk contest, held on Saturday, February 15 at the NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, announced by the NBA.
McLemore becomes the fourth Kings player to take part in the contest and first to do so since Gerald Wallace in 2002.
He joins Toronto guard and defending champion Terrence Ross, Indiana forward Paul George, Portland guard Damian Lillard, Washington guard John Wall, and Golden State forward Harrison Barnes in the six-player field.
