
SACRAMENTO – As of Tuesday afternoon, the race for Sacramento City Council District 2 is still too close to call and it may take another week to decide who the winner will be.
Rob Kerth still holds a lead over developer and first-time candidate Allen Wayne Warren by exactly 200 votes. Currently, Kerth has 4,989 votes (50.87 percent) while Warren has 4,789 votes (48.83 percent).
The winner will take over the seat from Sandy Sheedy who decided not to run again.

In the District 4 City Council race, Steven Hansen has taken over the lead from candidate Joseph Yee by 108 votes. Hansen now has 9,813 votes (50.18 percent) to Yee’s 9,705 (49.63 percent).
The victor in this race will relieve Rob King Fong, who also decided to leave the office after two terms.
In the race for U.S. Representative District 7, Dr. Ami Bera has taken a lead over incumbent Dan Lungren. Bera’s 119,726 (50.81 percent) votes are besting Lungren’s 115,902 votes (49.19 percent).
