Description:
Help set a record for nationwide bowling! Capitol Bowl will join more than 3,200 bowling centers in celebrating National Bowling Week. The 2010 National Bowling Week kicks off on July 31. To launch the weeklong celebration, Capitol Bowl will host special events that include activities for all ages, quick and easy league sign-up, free coaching clinics and fun. Saturday, July 31, 11:00am-8:00pm Kick-off Day--Improve your game or learn to play! Our coaches will offer free tips and tricks. Get one free game for every game you buy. Sunday, August 1, 11:00am-11:00pm Bowling Ball Rescue Day--Bring in your unwanted bowling ball and we’ll give it a new home as a house ball. You’ll get two free games for each bowling ball. Monday, August 2, 11:00am-2:00pm Bowling for Lunch--Take your lunch break here! Two games, shoes and lunch for $10.95. Tuesday, August 3, 2:00pm-10:00pm League Awareness Day--Learn about joining or starting a league at Capitol Bowl league. League bowlers from any bowling center bowl for $2 a game. (Please bring your league card.) Wednesday, August 4, 2:00pm-10:00pm SPARK It Up--All SPARK and Special Olympics athletes bowl for free. Capitol Bowl will donate a percentage of profits for the day to the SPARK program, West Sacramento’s adaptive recreation program. Thursday, August 5, 11:00am-8:00pm Dollar Day--$1 games, shoes, sodas, and nachos Friday, August 6, 4:00pm-8:00pm Burger Bar--$2 hamburgers for bowlers. Top your own from the extensive topping bar! Saturday, August 7, 11:00am-8:00pm National Bowling Day!-- Help set the nationwide record for the most bowlers on a single day! Adults get a free game and shoes with a valid email address. All bowlers get a certificate of participation. Capitol Bowl is at 900 West Capitol Avenue in West Sacramento and online at www.capbowl.com. Call 916-371-4200. Capitol Bowl is a family-owned and family-friendly bowling center. Part of the West Sacramento community for more than 50 years, Capitol Bowl has provided a fun and safe environment for generations of bowlers.
