Boyz II Men & Bell Biv Devoe Coming to Sunrise Pavilion

BoystoMenCITRUS HEIGHTS – Motown Philly’s back again. Fans will be happy to know it’s not the “End of the Road” for Boyz II Men, they’ll perform locally on Thursday, August 15.

Wanya Morris, Nathan Morris and Shawn Stockman will hit the stage at the Sunrise Marketplace Outdoor Pavilion as part of the Sunrise at Night Concert Series. Also performing will be fellow 90s hitmakers Bell Biv DeVoe. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for the 8:00 p.m. show.

Boyz II Men had hits with such songs as “End of the Road,” “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday,” “On Bended Knee,” and “Motownphilly.” The latter featured a guest rap cameo by Michael Bivens of Bell Biv DeVoe.

Bell Biv Devoe features three members of the mega group New Edition— Bivens, Ricky Bell and Ronnie Devoe. They became chart-toppers in their own right with songs such as “Do Me,” “B.B.D. (Thought It Was Me)” “She’s Dope” and “Poison,” which launched the phrase “never trust a big butt and a smile” until the urban vernacular.

Tickets to the show range $47.50-$85.50. The 2,500-seat Sunrise Pavilion is located at 6199 Sunrise Mall, Citrus Heights. For more information, call (916) 536-1195.
