St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Celebrates Pastor Ephraim Williams

OAK PARK – “That’s my pastor!” It’s not uncommon for members of a church to be proud of being associated with a minister and to vocalize their appreciation for his or her spiritual guidance.

St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating the direction and leadership of its pastor, Dr. Ephraim Williams this month. The church hosts Dr. Williams’ 41st Appreciation Services on Friday, September 14 and Sunday, September 23. The theme of the services, “He Gave Us A Pastor” is taken from the Scripture, Ephesians 4:11.

A service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on September 14. On September 23, services will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Guest speakers will participate on September 23. The speaker for the 10:00 a.m. service will be Rev. Kenneth Reece. Rev. Reece is pastor of San Francisco’s Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church. The speaker for the 3:00 p.m. service will be Rev.
