Drexel University Hosts Second Annual Women of Color Leadership Forum

SACRAMENTO – Drexel University will host its Second Annual Women of Color Leadership Forum, Saturday, Sept. 22 at One Capitol Mall. The event, moderated by Darla Davenport-Powell (CEO of GreaterWorks LLC) runs from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This year’s title is “Lifting As We Climb” and will feature panel of dynamic women in administrative leadership positions who have shattered the stained-glass ceiling.

The panelists are University of Pacific’s Dr. Lisa Cooper (Assistant Vice President for Diversity and Community Engagement), California Correctional Healthcare’s Preet Didbal (Internal Audit Manager), and Sacramento City College’s Dr. Rhonda Rios Kravitz (Dean of Learning Resources Division).

These professional women will share their stories and strategies of what it takes to reach the top.
